On most days I like avoiding TSbyBS entirely - personally I think the show's writers failed to take into consideration what Blair declaring himself a fraud would do to his future career options. Plus they clearly enjoyed keeping the tension level high between Jim and Blair by not having them talk to each other about the dissertation - there wouldn't have been such a melt down if the characters had just talked to each other - especially after ... I think the episode was called Night Watch - which ever one it was where Jim saw the first chapter?

I've also never understood why Jim tends to get all the blame for everything... and I wanted to see of other stories had been written that were more balanced. Didn't get many recs though ...

Anyway I'm going to go check out "Need to Know" - I'm curious even if it ends up not being my cup of tea. :)
